The business is also and active member of the NE Chamber of Commerce, for which it organises the North East Shadow MPC (see video) in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.

The business is an active member of NOF Energy, the trade body for suppliers to the energy sector and this year was a proud sponsor of part if its annual conference.

In terms of support for the Arts Recognition merged business with pleasure as a sponsor of the bi-annual Lumiere festival in Durham City.

We also organise the Yorkshire Shadow MPC in Leeds together with Lee & Priestley Solicitors and the Yorkshire Post and organise regular business forumns in Huddersfield.

In Tees Valley our work with the Local Enterprise Partnership is very useful in generating and supporting local business networks. Last month's event on Budget Day was very well attended.

The latest organisation to get active support from Recognition is the Entrepreneur's Forum, a cross sector peer-group of like minded individuals who share ideas, knowledge, inspiration and opportunities in a business environment.

Active business is not always found by traditional advertising and marketing. Networking is critical in the 21st Century. Our clients organise, speak at and attend the big events that get them noticed in a networking setting. It is an increasing part of our business and one you could co-ordinate for your organisation with an all encompassing PR strategy.
