New starters at Recognition

Recognition PR has appointed a new Senior Consultant, experienced journalist Liz Hands. Liz joins Recognition with a wealth of journalistic experience behind her. She has worked at the Evening Standard in London and is a former News Editor for the Evening Chronicle, The Journal and the Sunday Sun. Liz has also worked on regional magazines such as Horizons, the magazine for Newcastle Airport. Liz has also represented major companies including Jet 2, Lloyd BMW and La-Redoute.

 

Also joining the team at Recognition PR is new PR Assistant Kieran McCormick. Kieran graduated with a journalism degree from Leeds Beckett University in 2013, Kieran has gained media experience. His background is in radio and he first started presenting on Auckland Hospital Radio in Bishop Auckland General Hospital in 2009.

 

Kieran also presented shows on Bishop FM, hosting the station’s flagship Saturday Sports Show since leaving university in 2013 and also starting the Northern League Show in 2014.    

 

Recognition PR works with some of the North’s top firms, including Bannatynes Fitness, Vertu Motors PLC, Black Sheep Brewery and it also includes London based Pimlico Plumbers in its client roster.
