A senior public relations consultant is required at this growing PR firm, which has over 50 clients based throughout the UK. the successful applicant may be based at our head office in Darlington, or possibly work from a home-base in Scotland (using our VPN) as we have a growing number of clients in Scotland.

You will be responsible for managing a number of clients in diverse market sectors. Recognition raises the profile of individuals, businesses and issues.

The firm also specialises in crisis/reputation management and media training and has its own in-house web TV and radio studio.

The candidate will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of a range of print and broadcast media - construction, consumer, business, regional/national press as well as be familiar with the developing area of on-line media outlets.

You will be part of a growing team, with real career opportunities.

Applicants should have previous PR experience either agency-side or in-house.

A well-presented individual with first-class writing ability and communications skills, finesse, credibility, the desire to complete and a real interest in all areas of the media are the criteria required to meet the needs of our developing client base.

Driving licence and own car essential as you will be expected to meet with clients at their offices(fuel fully reimbursed - pool car also available).
