NEWS RELEASE: ISSUED ON BEHALF OF HOUSING HARTLEPOOL

Sarah Fawcett, Housing Hartlepool’s Head of Property and Development, said: “This £12.5 million scheme will uplift the area, help to restore market confidence and ensure long-term sustainability.

“There will also be employment potential with the developers required to use some local labour and provide training opportunities, as well as local supply chain benefits.

“It has involved Housing Hartlepool, residents, Hartlepool Borough Council and New Deal for Communities working in partnership to create a blueprint for the area to create an attractive, high quality environment for people to live in.

“The 97 properties, which will be built to a high standard and be economical to run, will be a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed houses and 2 bedroomed bungalows. They will be of mixed tenure including to rent, on a shared equity basis and for sale.”
