Frances has a background in Marketing with diverse experience in a number of industries: construction, airline, textiles, curtain tracks and latterly tyres, having been the UK Marketing Manager for Pirelli.    

Since 1981, Frances has been involved in  Marketing in the purest sense, incorporating product development, research, pricing, forecasting, UK and European promotion (trade and consumer), events, motorsport, advertising and PR.   She moved to the North East in 1997 and lives in picturesque Teesdale. Frances also speaks fluent French and Italian and has worked in export marketing all over the world. A strategist, Frances set about growing Recogniton using her blue-chip experience, when she joined as a partner in 1999.
