Manufacturing talks to national audience

Recognition client John Elliott, founder of manufacturing
firm Ebac, has delivered a very well-received speech to the annual Cranfield University Manufacturing Debate. The event was attended by business minister Michael Fallon MP and included keynote presentations from manufacturers and academics. 

John is determined to change the way we think about manufacturing. He thinks that we should be working harder to change the imbalance between of exports and imports. One way is to substitute the number of imports we have for goods made in the UK. His firm is to start the first UK
production line for washing machines – we stopped making them years ago and
every washing machine you can buy in UK shops is made abroad.
