New Year sees people making business plans. Recognition supports small businesses with some free sessions & also offers a new package for first time users.
Next year I will have been in private business for 25 years. That time has seen my business grow from my bedroom to be one of the most well-known PR firms in the North of England with some brilliant clients and a wide range of marketing and PR services.
I’m committed to helping the North East economy grow. It is still one of the poorest regions of the UK but it is brimming with potential and has a great attitude towards embracing new opportunities and ideas.
I serve as Chairman of the Institute of Directors in the region I also serve of the board of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum; both organisations believe that the creation of new businesses and the growth of existing locally owned businesses is the key to future prosperity in the North East.
I’m always talking about supporting small business so now I’m putting my money where my mouth is. To that end I have decided to support Small Business Saturday on 6th December by offering a free marketing clinic to up to ten small businesses – five on Small Business Saturday 6th December 2014 and five in the New Year. I would like to share some of my experiences; maybe even offer some mentoring, sharpen the message for each business and advise on marketing platforms. I’ll do this in a bite-sized chunk of one hour that could help a growing business to promote its products, services and people.

Recognition is also introducing a new product for new clients our Fixed Fee, Fixed term package costs £1250 + VAT for three months
This buys a short PR campaign and includes a short web video (shot in one location). It is ideal for clients which do not require regular PR, or for organisations which have an in-house PR function that requires short term external support. It is also an ideal way for clients which are new to PR to give it a go. The time committed to the package is no higher than 18 hours. This package is charged to credit cards on the basis of 50% up front and 50% at the end of three months.
