LinkedIn Update: Climate Change Committee 2023 Progress Report for government
The Climate Change Committee has published its 2023 report into the government's progress towards reducing emissions. You can read it here ????

Within its pages is a call to accelerate to shift from petrol and diesel to EV cars, however more has to be done to balance this with a more robust charging network.
It was good to see in the report a call to cut VAT from public charging points, this could be part of a package to support a shift to a destination charging culture.
Making it possible for people to charge on arrival, whether its for pleasure or business, will make a difference, but there needs to be greater incentives for businesses, particularly in the leisure and hospitality industry, to provide charge points for customers.
