A talented Teesside actress is on the road to fulfilling her dreams with the support of Boro Taxis.

Charlotte Sisson, a former Egglescliffe School pupil, has graduated with distinction from the prestigious Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA)’s Professional Acting course following 15 months of study, during which Boro Taxis supported her with course fees and living expenses.

The talented Teesside thespian has already signed with the long-established and well-respected co-operative talent agency, Rogues and Vagabonds Management, whose client roster includes a number of well-renowned stage and television actors.

Before attending ALRA, the 25 year-old, who graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Performing from Northumbria University, had enjoyed a number of paid roles in theatre, commercials, pantomime and TV, in addition to starring in an interactive drama series TryLife, which quickly gained more than 100,000 likes on Facebook.

Christine Bell, Director at Boro Taxis, said: “I have been following Charlotte’s progress eagerly as her mum, Julie, is a manager at Boro Taxis. We were all so happy when Charlotte was accepted to ALRA and we’re really proud of her graduating with distinction.

“Charlotte has worked really hard to get where she is and I’m sure that we’ll be hearing a lot more about her in the future. She is a Teesside success story in the making!”

Charlotte said: “I was working as an actress in the North East after I graduated from Northumbria University, but attending drama school was always a dream of mine, and thanks to the support of Boro Taxis it’s come true.

“Drama school has really ignited my career. I’ve been signed by Rogues and Vagabonds and have my first professional job coming up in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to more auditions and what's to come this year!

“I learnt a lot at ALRA and I’m continuing to develop my skills, so I’m feeling really positive about future prospects. I really can’t thank Boro Taxis enough for helping me get to this stage.”
