Vertu York BMW MINI launches recruitment drive

24/02/2022

Vertu York BMW MINI has launched a recruitment drive, as business surges and electric vehicle sales have grown.

The dealership, at the City’s Clifton Moor Gate, is looking to recruit a range of roles including:

Vehicle Administrator

Service Administrator

Prep Technician

Vehicle Technician

Workshop Controller

Sales Executives

Sales Advisor

Vertu York BMW MINI is holding the recruitment open evening on Thursday 10th March, from 5pm to 8pm, where would-be employees will be given a tour of the facilities as well as the chance to meet dealership staff, including managers.

As part of these new roles, colleagues will receive stock options for parent company Vertu Motors plc and new mothers will benefit from an enhanced maternity scheme, which pays 90% of weekly average earnings for the first six months of leave.

A recent satisfaction survey across the wider Vertu Motors group found that more than 90% of colleagues enjoyed their job, whilst 85% of colleagues would recommend the company to others as a great place to work.

Chris Burnham, Head of Business at Vertu York BMW MINI, said: “This gives anyone who is interested in working for us the opportunity to find out what Vertu Motors offers its colleagues, as well as giving the chance to see for themselves how our dealership operates. We are particularly hoping to bolster our Aftersales department.

“Vertu Motors is a fantastic and ambitious company to work for, as borne out by our colleague satisfaction survey. I would encourage anyone looking for a new role to come along and see what we have to offer.”

Anyone interested in attending the open evening is asked to register by emailing recruitment@vertumotors.com with their details.
