Bannatyne Falkirk member does charity climb up Kilimanjaro
Paul McBride, a member at our Falkirk health club will be challenging himself by climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa on a 9-day hike during October 2022.
The purpose of his walk is to fundraise for Robin House (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) in Balloch. Robin House (CHAS) cares for children with life shortening illnesses and provide support for their families.
It offer a full family support service for babies, children and young people. This includes palliative care, family respite and support - through hospices, home care services and hospital presence.
He first heard of Robin House whilst reading a travel book called Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman a number of years ago.
