Bannatyne Hotel Darlington is hosting "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning" in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on September 21st, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Competition Categories:

1. **Best Baker: Showcase your baking prowess with your finest homemade creation.

2. **Best Faker: No baking skills required! Enter with your favourite shop-bought delight.

3. **Wooden Spoon: For those charming mishaps – bring your less-than-perfect creation and share a laugh.

All competition entries must be submitted between 10:30am and 11am, allowing the judges ample time to decide on submissions. A nominal £1 donation per entry will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, contributing to their vital work in providing support to those affected by cancer.

The event has been organised by waiting staff Bailey Whitley, Amelia Wilson and Sam Cordey, who are organising a number of fundraising events at the hotel. Previously they have supported The Firefighters Charity with a car wash and an afternoon tea for St. Teresa’s Hospice.

Bailey said: "We're thrilled to be hosting The World's Biggest Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.”

Sam added: "It's an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some wonderful food and company, and make a real difference for a cause that touches so many lives."
