The spa at the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa in Belfast is in the running for two prestigious awards.

Following a rigorous vetting process the Spa, in Belfast Road, Holywood has been nominated in the World Spa Awards Northern Ireland’s Best Spa category.

The World Spa Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the spa and wellness industry across the globe with the aim of inspiring exceptional standards and connecting consumers with the best locations at which to be pampered.

Voting for these opens on May 3 and runs until July 25 with industry professionals, media and consumers asked to vote for the brands they consider the ‘best of the best’ in the spa and wellness sector.

The spa also is a finalist for the Spa of the Year accolade in the Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards 2022, the winners of which will be announced at a celebration on June 12 at the city’s Europa Hotel.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards 2022 said: “Some of the most iconic stylists, beauticians and well-known salons got shortlisted in this year’s Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards, making it a really fierce competition.

“Our aim is to highlight the strong presence and profitability of the country’s hair and beauty industry and recognise the professionals whose talent, ethos and excellence have put them forward to receive the recognition they deserve.”

The Belfast Spa has single and dual treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, a relaxation room. It offers a wide range of wellbeing and pampering treatments to relax the mind, soothe the soul and lift the spirit. Guests can also enjoy the health club’s excellent wet facilities, including jacuzzi and pool, the café bar and the gym floor with the latest fitness equipment.
