We are sure that Jordan Caygill will achieve his latest goal as he has already shown an outstanding ability to succeed.

Growing up with a stammer was hard for him, but he turned to music to express himself. This talent has turned into a successful career, and he now is a film trailer composer with Los Angeles-based Position Music with his compositions featuring on Terminator Dark Fate, Stephen King’s The Outsider and America’s Got Talent.

He now has set himself the challenge of becoming a bodybuilder – here is his story:

Signing up to Bannatyne’s health club in Darlington was my priority when I knew I wanted to embark on my goal of bodybuilding.

It had been in the forefront of my mind for many years, however medical issues and spinal surgery set me back from following this vision. Now fully recovered I stepped through the doors of Bannatyne’s to take the next big step in my life.

From someone who grew up with no confidence with a fear of the gym, Bannatyne’s just felt right. I knew I was in the right place. My speech impediment is irrelevant here.

This gym is giving me the platform and opportunity to build the body I always have wanted as well as helping me grow my mind.

Just because I can’t always speak fluently is like learning how to bench press – learning the motions allows the body to speak. I am learning all the time and already, in just a few weeks, seeing results.

Most of all I want to thank the staff – they are a motivating set of people, who are experts when it comes to helping people get fit in mind, body and soul.

My goal is to raise my voice through bodybuilding and eventually compete in the sport. Imagine winning a competition knowing how hard I’d trained with the help and support of Bannatyne health club.

I hope I will inspire and motivate others to improve their physical and mental wellbeing by speaking to them through my actions
