BEYOND HOUSING HELPS SCARBOROUGH’S FUTURE STARS GET TRAINING

23/11/2022

Beyond Housing has supported the Scarborough Ladies U14s football team with funding for the purchase of new training suits.

The donation was made possible following an application for £600 from the Travis Perkins Community Legacy Fund.

The Scarborough Ladies FC runs eight squads, with a membership of over 150 girls, ranging in age from 11 to 18 years.

This year the club won the League and Cup double. In an undefeated season, they scored 120 goals, and only conceded 15.

Beyond Housing Community Partnership and Engagement Manager Stephanie Lake said:

“This was a wonderful opportunity to support a popular and growing club, which provides excellent fitness and development opportunities for girls whilst helping to promote ladies’ football across our diverse communities.”
