Beyond Housing

Tees Valley and North Yorkshire housing provider, Beyond Housing, is set to deliver 101 new homes in Stockton-on-Tees with work expected to start in spring 2024.

The housing development will be delivered in partnership with contractor, Linden Homes, and will include a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed homes.

Set to be completed in 2026, Beyond Housing will provide 71 homes for affordable rent, with a further 30 available to purchase through shared ownership through Beyond Housing’s sales company, Viola Homes.

Located on the outskirts of Bishopsgarth, and within walking distance of the University Hospital of North Tees, the new homes, which are part of Stockton’s Back Lane and Harrowgate Lane expansion, are expected to be ready for people to move in to from spring 2025.

Ben Briggs, Project Manager at Beyond Housing, said: “We're pleased to be involved in a project which supports the delivery of Stockton's Yarm Back Lane and Harrowgate Lane Masterplan.

“This site, along with others in the plan, will see an expansion in Stockton to provide much needed local housing and associated infrastructure.

“Our offer of 101 new homes provides affordable options for both home ownership and rent, supporting a number of needs and aspirations for both new and existing customers in the area.”

Andrew Rennie, Development Director at Linden Homes, said: “Our track record managing large scale housing projects of this kind is well proven and 750 homes have already been delivered at similar schemes near Redcar, at Kirkleatham Green, and in Middlesbrough, at Bracken Grange - the former securing a five-star builder status from the Home Builders Federation (HBF).
