As part of Global Safety Day, we’re focusing on the important issue of hand safety as it’s estimated hand related injuries account for 20% of all disabling workplace incidents within the manufacturing sector. It’s a real collaborative effort, so a huge thanks to staff for getting behind our Hand Safety campaign, as well as all those who have submitted ideas via our suggestion scheme of ways to improve our safety performance. As well as marking the day with toolbox safety talks, it’s also fantastic to see staff raising awareness by sporting our ‘Protect Your Hands’ polo shirts - because safety starts with each and every one of us.
