Hellens Residential is hosting an Open Day on the 3^rd February 9am to 1pm for the eleven affordable homes available for people to purchase on a Discount Market Sale or Shared Equity basis. These are available to people from Sunderland at a discounted price to the normal market price.

The social housing provider purchased the new houses from Esh Homes as it continues its commitment to developing sustainable communities across the North East.

The properties include seven two-bed homes starting at £148,750 and four three-bed homes starting at £179,792 each.

Built in Springwell Village, the development is no more than a five-minute drive away from local amenities, including supermarkets, a golf course, and a school.

With a view to helping people get on the housing ladder, the range of properties are available to locals who have do not currently own their own home and must not be able to purchase the property at the open market value.

An open viewing day will be held at the properties on Saturday 3^rd February 9am to 1pm.
