Global demand increases for MotorVise dealership training packages

27/09/2022

A global upswing in demand for staff training has seen UK automotive consultancy MotorVise exporting its expertise to an expanding number of countries.

It provides an extensive range of training programmes either in-person or via its own hi-tech broadcast studios, a facility that has contributed to a three-fold increase in business so far this year.

That equates to more than 2,000 days of MotorVise training content, with the international market now accounting for 35 percent.

In recent years, it has created bespoke training packages for dealerships in the United States, the Middle East, South Africa, and Japan.

An increasing emphasis on the outstanding customer service has created further demand for training, which has seen the company extend its geographical reach to include Canada, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Fraser Brown, founder and managing director of MotorVise, said: “Both recruitment and training are now critical as car, motorcycle and leisure vehicle dealerships react to the challenges of a post-Covid world.

“Many recognise the importance of providing customers with the best possible experience, which requires all customer-facing staff to receive the right training.

“It’s also important that the dealership has invested in the correct car showroom systems that allow staff to spend less time on administration and more time with the customer.

“We are experiencing a great deal of interest in our training packages from across the globe, which reflect not only recognises not only our experience but our ability to deliver this training virtually.”

Much of the new global business has been generated though client recommendation, many via the UK customers, whose training syllabus can be adapted and repeated across their multi-national territories.

The extensive training programme focuses on several key areas within dealerships, including sales, servicing, parts, reception and leadership. In addition, it can also partner, administer, and deliver a fully bespoke training academy or address a specific skills gap.

In the UK, MotorVise delivers training for a number of the top 10 dealer groups and automotive OEMs.

Fraser added: “It’s encouraging that the automotive industry has recognised the need to meet the challenges facing them by investing in one of their major assets, their people.”
