Paul and Andrea Clark of oven cleaning service Ovenu Warrington have been inundated with good wishes from their many clients since announcing the award-winning business is up for sale.

The husband and wife team took the decision as part of their long-term retirement plans – but stress that it’s very much business as usual until they find the right successor to ensure a seamless handover.

Since launching 15 years ago, the Penketh couple estimate that they have restored more than 15,000 ovens to near showroom condition. During that time, they have built a database of 8,000 loyal clients and earned 3,750 maximum five star reviews.

Paul, a former nurse and social worker and Andrea, a former primary school learning manager, say the award-winning franchised business represents an ideal turnkey opportunity for someone with ambitions to become their own boss.

Paul, who is experiencing some health problems relating to a motorcycle accident many years ago, said: “The business has been very good to us over the past 15 years, but the real highlight is the many wonderful people we have met along the way.

“We are both committed to delivering exceptional service and that is why we are one of the region’s most established home service franchises. However, the time is approaching when we need to hand the baton over.”

Andrea added: “I always wanted to be my own boss and Ovenu Warrington has allowed us to enjoy a fantastic work life balance.”
