Having restored the sparkle to more than 15,000 ovens over the past 15 years, husband and wife team Paul and Andrea Clark are putting their Ovenu Warrington business up for sale as they prepare for retirement.

Paul, a former nurse and social worker and Andrea, a former primary school learning manager, say it presents an ideal opportunity for someone with an ambition to become their own boss.

The couple, from Penketh, are still accepting bookings while at the same time seeking someone to take on the award-winning franchised business to ensure a smooth transition.

As well as Warrington, it covers an area that includes Golborne, Newton-le-Willows, Runcorn, Frodsham, Widnes, and St Helens.

Paul, who is experiencing some health problems that date back to a motorcycle accident many years ago, said: “Most people detest the idea of oven cleaning, but it is something that gives us a great deal of satisfaction and professional pride.

“We are proud to have built up such a thriving business, but the real pleasure is in meeting so many lovely people, and that’s what we will really miss.

“We have a database of more than 8.000 clients, many of whom are regulars, which reflects our passion for exceptional service. However, the time is approaching when we need to hand the baton over to this turnkey business opportunity.”

No previous experience is required as Ovenu provides a full training programme, together with ongoing help and support. The sale also includes a fully equipped van containing all necessary tools and cleaning products.

As well as Warrington, it covers an area that includes Golborne, Newton-le-Willows, Runcorn, Frodsham, Widnes, and St Helens.
