A word from our chairman

As we begin turning our attention to the Autumn, residents at The Hall have enjoyed soaking in the last moments of summer before embarking on the wintery months ahead.

We are delighted to announce that Stephanie Pyle is our new activities coordinator at The Hall after joining us in November last year as a senior carer. In less than 12 months, Stephanie has developed close relationships with all our residents, making her the perfect fit for the job.

Our summer events have offered an array of engaging activities and entertainment that has brought joy to our residents. Martin’s recent live performances were a delight and was backed up by a very successful Macmillan coffee morning.

Martin the music man

It was great to welcome a talented newcomer to the community when Martin showed off his musical ability to all our residents. Bringing his guitar and ukelele, he was able to offer many different tunes and certainly delivered in his first performance at The Hall.

With a willingness to take requests from the residents, the visit was a heartwarming experience for all, bringing back fond memories as well as creating new ones!

Macmillan coffee morning

The home’s recent Macmillan coffee morning was a lovely morning enjoyed by all. Our members of staff spent hours preparing to host the event and extended a warm invitation to family and friends in the area.

The morning promised more than just coffee and cakes; it was a chance to come together, and most importantly, make a positive impact on an important cause. It was great to see so many people in attendance, helping make a difference.
