Eston care home manager shines at the Great British Care Awards national final

Caroline Bowstead, care home manager at Astune Rise Care Home in Eston, part of Popular Care, has been has been praised for her amazing care and commitment at the Great British Care Awards national final.

Caroline was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Dignity in Care category after winning the regional final.

Caroline’s citation said that she is ‘driven by passion and dedication, and her approach is person-centred. She demonstrated a strong commitment to upholding dignity in her work setting. Caroline has a proactive approach, and her positive impact enriches the experiences of the residents’.

The award is recognition of her unwavering dedication to upholding the dignity and respect of all residents under her care. Her approach has not only enhanced the quality of life for the residents but also served as an inspirational model for her colleagues.

The Great British Care Awards is a national celebration of excellence across the care sector, acknowledging the unsung heroes who consistently go above and beyond in their roles.
