A popular business podcast in the North East and Yorkshire is inviting entrepreneurs and leaders from the North West to contribute to its regular show.

The Northern Business Podcast, formerly known as Business Unmuted, appears live weekly on LinkedIn and YouTube, with repeats on podcast platforms Apple, Amazon and Spotify. Senior partner of Recognition PR and host of the podcast, Graham Robb, welcomes a panel of experts to discuss current affairs and issues of concern to business leaders in the North East and Yorkshire.

As of the podcast’s 100^th episode, taking place on 24 May, the podcast will also include guests from across the North West.

To celebrate the new name and expanded remit, the panel will feature business experts from the North East, North West and Yorkshire, including Rob Parsons from Reach PLC, Elaine Stroud from Entrepreneurs’ Forum, and Andy Ward from PwC.

Graham Robb, senior partner at Recognition PR and podcast host, said: “I launched the podcast during the lockdown on Zoom with business leaders who were unable to get out and talk about what was happening in the local economy.

“Time has moved on, and now we’re able to welcome guests to our studio in Darlington as well as down the line, so we feel it’s time it’s time to grow the podcast into the North West, so that we can welcome a wider range of guests.

“In the North East and Yorkshire, we have built an audience base of thousands of listeners and viewers. We hope that business professionals in the North West will benefit from it too.”
