10/08/2023

Rosedene Guisborough has celebrated its 20th birthday in style, hosting a carnival-themed party for its staff, children, and parents.

The nursery, on Hutton Lane in Guisborough, welcomed more than 40 parents to celebrate the special occasion, hosting a wide range of carnival themed activities and stalls including a coconut shy, tattoo parlour, hook-a-duck and an ice cream van for dessert.

Rosedene Nurseries has been in business since the early 1990s and has grown from a single nursery to 10 nurseries across Teesside and North Yorkshire. Rosedene always make an effort when it comes to key milestones, recently holding graduation ceremonies for 181 children starting their school journeys, at all nurseries across the North East.

Alice McCullagh, Director at Rosedene said: “We are delighted to be celebrating 20 years at Rosedene Guisborough.”

“We’re very lucky to be celebrating this anniversary with many staff who have been here from the start and have made Rosedene Guisborough what it is today.

“Over the last 20 years we have developed new technologies and developed our childcare experiences, but our core values remain the same, focusing on the children and delivering the best possible start for every child.”

Cllr Luke Myer, Cabinet member for Children at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, who attended the celebrations, said: “It was fantastic to celebrate the 20th birthday and see the fantastic work the team are doing at Rosedene and long may it continue!”
