Rosedene Nurseries

Rosedene Nurseries Hardwick welcomed the Stockton-on-Tees Mayor to help with its annual graduation ceremony, as its three-and four-year-olds prepare for the next stage of their education.

Dressed in caps and gowns for their special day, the children collected certificates from Councillor Jim Beall, Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, and had photos taken in front of an audience of delighted parents.

The event was hosted by the team at Rosedene Hardwick, who have supported many of the children since they were babies.

Laura Weir, a nursery manager at Rosedene, said: “The day was absolutely amazing. It was great to have the Mayor here and the staff have loved seeing the children graduate.

“It’s really important to celebrate these moments so the children can reflect on the time they’ve had here at Rosedene Hardwick.”

Councillor Jim Beall said: “It’s been a pleasure to be here to hand out the certificates at the graduation for the children of Rosedene Nurseries as they embark on their further school career.

“Giving children the best start in life is one of the most important things we can do and I hope that the council supports nurseries like Rosedene in preparing children for school and further learning.”

Laura, a parent, said: “It was nice to have the kids together to see how they interact with the staff. My daughter constantly talks about them – one of the highlights of her going to nursery has been the amazing team supporting her.”
