VERTU NELSON LAND ROVER PARTNERS WITH BURNLEY FC TO SUPPORT LOCAL FOOD BANK COLLECTION

In a community-driven initiative, Vertu Nelson Land Rover is working with Burnley Football Club to support its food bank collection.

This charitable endeavour was highlighted at Turf Moor at a recent home match.

As part of the initiative, a Range Rover, generously provided by Vertu Nelson Land Rover, was stationed outside the stadium to serve as a collection point. The effort was complemented by a Golf from Vertu Skipton Volkswagen and a visually striking, branded American-style school bus, creating multiple points for fans to contribute to this worthy cause.

Both the Range Rover and the Golf were driven to the stadium filled with food already collected by Vertu Nelson Land Rover.

Allison Reede, Head of Business at Vertu Nelson Land Rover, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "It's an honour for Vertu Nelson Land Rover to support the Burnley community in this vital cause. As we join forces with Burnley FC, we're not just reinforcing our commitment to community welfare but also strengthening the bond between the club and its supporters."

The food kindly donated by both Vertu Nelson Land Rover and fans attending the match is a huge boost for the Community Foodbank, and the success of the event reflects the way in which our partnership extends beyond football to help those who need it most.”

Vertu Motors, the Official Automotive Retailer Partner for Burnley FC for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, is taking an active role in community engagement and social responsibility.
